Update: Kindle PW after 2 weeks

Still enjoying my new Kindle.

I purchased a clear back case (so I can decorate with inserts and stickers); a bright pink strap; a pretty padded case (to protect screen).

Kiddo is reading daily on it. We're both finding plenty to read on Kindle Unlimited.

Honestly, you really do lose yourself in the book reading on this thing. No judgement on people who are content reading on their phone, but for me, eink makes a big difference in my experience. I have old eyes and bad eyes so the way the light hits makes reading so much more comfortable.

Coming from a Kindle PW 2018, the speed is magical. (Also 2018 PW doesn't have the warm light setting).

I do have a slight preference for the 6 inch size of the PW 2018 vs the 7 inch of the PW 2024 regarding portability.

Last thought.. I don't necessarily need the warm light for day time reading. It's night time reading where the warm light takes the edge off of the brightness.
